Quick growing, it has a mild flavour. Spring Onions grow in most soils, but do best in well-dug and manured ground. They prefer an open sunny position.

| How To Grow | Sow thinly, 15mm (quarter-inch) deep in rows 15cm (6in) apart. No thinning is necessary, but keep plants well watered, particularly in dry weather. Make successive sowings every 4-6 weeks. |
