A very useful and long lasting cut flower, it also dries to produce large brown seed pods, surrounded by delicate rods and bracts - superb for Winter decoration. A hardy annual, flowering the same year. Prefers a sunny position.

How To Grow |
Sow in flowering position 25cm (9in) apart. Site in a sunny position protected from strong winds. Feed with a liquid fertiliser when buds appear. Remove dead flowers to prolong flowering, or pick complete stems and dry for fascinating indoor arrangements. |
