Small pods with exceptional flavour. This variety is often used in many restaurants. The bushes are sturdy & are prolific producers.
How To Grow |
Sow bean seeds 25mm (1") deep in damp soil & avoid watering for a day or two afterwards. Ensure the soil has been well prepared with organic compost & well rotted manure. Sow 7-10cm (3/4") apart, allowing 50cm (20") between rows. Plant in 3-5m (10-16')rows and remove weeds regularly. Water well during dry periods. The positioning should be in full sun; receiving at least 6-8 hours per day. Additional fertilising is not required as legumes produce their own nitrogen. |
