Stock availability

Plant sizing
Sizes refer to the size of the pot the plant is sold in, rather than the exact size of the plant itself. For example,

  • 100 mm refers to a 10 cm diameter pot,
  • 140 mm refers to a 14 cm diameter pot,
  • 5L refers to a 5 litre pot, etc.

In general, smaller pot sizes usually indicate younger plants, though the actual size and development of the plant can vary significantly depending on the species, variety, and growth habit.

Photo sourcing and AI-generated imagery
Images used on our website are either owned by Kambarang Garden Centre, used under free-use licensing, or used with permission from the original owner. In some cases, AI-assisted imagery may be used where suitable real-world photos are difficult to obtain, in order to help demonstrate what a plant looks like. Where this is done, care is taken to ensure the image remains as true to life as reasonably possible.

The CERA TRAP® mass trapping system is an innovative, highly effective and ecologically acceptable method to assist in the management of fruit fly in orchard, cropping and home garden situations. 

Cera Trap is manufactured in Spain by Bioberica where it has been used successfully for many years capturing Mediterranean Fruit Fly. Cera Trap is sold commercially in over 20 countries around the world and is recognised as the standard for mass fruit fly trapping due to its high attracting capacity and low maintenance.

Cera Trap is a 2 part system comprising of a trap and the liquid attractant to fill the trap. The CERA TRAP Attractant produces emissions of volatile compounds, primarily heterocyclic amines (piperazinedions) and organic acids that is extremely attractive to adult fruit flies, especially females.

Cera Trap Attractant is a non-hazardous, safe to handle liquid product for attraction of a range of fruit fly including Mediterranean Fruit Fly (Ceratitis capitata), Queensland Fruit Fly (Bactrocera tryoni), Jarvis Fruit Fly (Bactrocera jarvisi), Melon Fruit Fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae), Pumpkin Fruit Fly (Bactrocera decipiens) and Oriental Fruit Fly (Bactrocera dorsalis). These fruit flies are attracted into the trap where they struggle to escape and drown in the liquid attractant. Each trap has an attracting range of 10m2 and attracts female and male flies at a ratio of approximately 4:1.

Cera Trap should be used in an integrated management system for fruit fly control.
