Description
Alstroemeria 'Fabiana', commonly known as Peruvian Lily or Princess Lily, is a stunning hybrid from South America, particularly Brazil, Chile, and Peru. This evergreen perennial features attractive variegated foliage, adding visual interest even when not in bloom. Reaching a height of 20-30 cm and a width of 30-40 cm, 'Fabiana' is ideal for Perth’s climate and grows well in full sun to semi-shade. It prefers well-drained soil and needs moderate watering during its establishment phase, becoming more drought-tolerant over time.
From Early Spring (Djilba) to Late Autumn (Djeran), 'Fabiana' produces delicate white flowers with a yellow and pink throat, creating a graceful display throughout much of the year. Its long flowering season, coupled with its unique foliage, makes it a fantastic choice for garden beds, borders, and containers, providing both texture and colour in any landscape.
