The "Crimson Villea" cultivar, a striking hybrid between Grevillea 'Scarlet Sprite' x rosmarinifolia, entices gardeners with its deep red blooms, which paint the landscape from Djeran (autumn) to Djilba (early spring). As a heavy flowerer, this small shrub is a statement piece, turning gardens into a spectacle of colour during its flowering months, though a word of caution: its foliage is notably spiky.

Directly planting "Crimson Villea" in the ground is recommended, with an emphasis on boosting poor, sandy soils using a quality soil conditioner. The plant's resilience is apparent as it grows more drought-hardy over time. To maintain its lavish floral display, it's beneficial to feed it with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser during Djilba (early spring).
