Sow direct into warm soil (20º C plus) or in punnets for early sowing. Choose a sunny final position. Press four seeds into damp soil at each clump, spaced 50cm (20in) between rows and clumps. Seedlings emerge in 7-10 day. When young plants have 5-6 leaves, pinch out growing tips to encourage growth of flowering shoots. Keep soil well-watered and mulched. |
