Description
A compact, upright small tree to about 1.8 × 1.8 m with a dense, rounded canopy.
A spectacular display of abundant, frilly panicles of fuchsia-pink flowers in early summer, often reblooming into late summer if spent blooms are removed.
Foliage emerges plum-purple before maturing to rich dark green, holding its colour from summer through to autumn.
Thrives in full sun and is tolerant of heat, drought and light frost once established, preferring a moist, well-drained soil.
