Description
Grevillea ‘Cherry Moon’ is a naturally compact, bushy shrub grown for its masses of cherry-red toothbrush flowers, which can appear through most of the year in Perth conditions. The nectar-rich blooms are highly attractive to birds and other beneficial urban wildlife, making it a great choice for gardens that support local fauna.
Growing to around 1.2 M high and 1.5 M wide, ‘Cherry Moon’ suits home gardens as well as larger landscape plantings. It performs best in full sun with free-draining soil and, like most grevilleas, benefits from good airflow and low-phosphorus fertiliser. Once established, it is relatively drought-tolerant and low maintenance.
