Description

The White Diosma (Coleonema pulchellum var. album) is renowned for its pleasantly scented foliage and the delicate allure of its small white flower clusters, which bloom profusely from Makuru to Kambarang (winter to mid-spring). As a medium-sized shrub, it's not just its blooms that attract; its aromatic leaves also captivate senses year-round. Whether in a garden setting or a pot, the White Diosma's elegance, combined with its functional use as a medium-sized hedge, makes it a preferred choice among garden enthusiasts.

When planting in the ground, particularly in sandy soils, enriching the soil with a quality conditioner will yield the best results. It prospers in well-draining soil and enjoys both full sun and partial shade. Watering needs remain consistent, with slight adjustments in cooler periods. To maintain its dense form, a regular light trimming is crucial, but be cautious as heavy pruning can be detrimental. A balanced fertiliser applied in Birak (mid-summer) enhances its vigour.
