Description

Citrus limon x sinensis "Meyer" offers garden enthusiasts a delightful blend of orange and lemon in a compact dwarf form. Boasting fragrant white blossoms that bloom from Djilba to Kambarang (late winter to spring), "Meyer" culminates in the production of juicy, slightly sweet lemons that carry a hint of orange flavour. Perfect for both culinary and ornamental use, this dwarf cultivar fits snugly in gardens with limited space or those wanting a potted citrus spectacle.

"Meyer" thrives when planted in the ground or pots, but for those with sandy soils, it's essential to boost the earth with a quality soil conditioner. It craves consistent watering, particularly from Kambarang to Djeran (spring to autumn) during warmer days. To support its fruitful yield, an application of citrus-specific fertiliser in Djilba (early spring) is advised. After enjoying the harvest, typically from Bunuru to Djeran (late summer to autumn), a light pruning will prime the tree for the next round of flowering.
