Description
Black Cherree is the first truly dwarf cherry tree available to home gardeners in Australia. The fruit is normal size but the tree is much smaller, taking up much less room in the garden. An excellent choice when planting a cherry tree for home use.
Fruit is red to dark red, round to heart-shaped with medium to dark red firm and juicy flesh.
Self-fertile, but will fruit better with a pollination partner such as Royal Rainier, Royal Lee or Minnie Royal.
Requires 500-750 chill hours, meaning it will usually fruit in Perth unless it is an unusually warm winter.
