Description
The "Yellow Form" of Kangaroo Paw (Anigozanthos flavidus) is a delightful perennial herbaceous plant that graces gardens with sunny yellow flowers all year round. Whether planted in the ground or in pots, its drought-hardy nature once established makes it an easy-care choice for various garden settings. For in-ground planting in poor, sandy soils, it's beneficial to mix in organic matter to nourish and support the plant.
Pruning can be done hard to the ground in early Djeran (Autumn), and native fertiliser should be applied in Djilba (late Winter to early Spring) and Djeran to stimulate lush growth. The bright and cheerful "Yellow Form" can be a charming focal point in gardens, borders, or containers, providing a continuous splash of colour and an alluring touch to any outdoor space.
