When settling "Bush Diamond" in the ground, enriching poor, sandy soils with organic compost is the key to a robust growth. This cultivar relishes sunlight and prefers consistent, moderate watering. For a nutritional boost, applying a controlled-release native plant fertiliser during Djilba (Late Winter to Early Spring) is optimal. Early Djeran (Autumn) is the prime time to prune it hard to the ground. Once this Kangaroo Paw finds its footing, it's a resilient gem, flourishing with minimal fuss.
