The "SuperMum" cultivar of Geraldton Wax (Chamelaucium) offers showy large pink blooms that radiate a luminous charm. Native to Western Australia, this medium shrub, traditionally utilised in the cut flower industry, is now accessible to the home gardener. It stands out with its prominent flowers, flourishing from Makuru to Djilba (winter to early spring).

When planting "SuperMum" in the ground, it's beneficial to amend poor, sandy soils with a reliable soil conditioner. During its early growth stages, the plant appreciates consistent watering, but once settled, it exhibits resilience, mainly requiring supplementary water during harsh heatwaves. For maintaining its robust nature and ensuring a generous floral display, fertilise in Djilba (early spring) and Djeran (autumn).
