Description
Bougainvillea are tropical plants that enjoy hot, dry environments. They require little care/attention once they establish other than trimming to shape as required. Bougainvilleas will naturally climb nearby plants and supports. They also have large thorns which can make them tricky to handle or prune as they get larger. This makes them terrific for fences and larger properties to add extra security as they will be difficult to climb over.
