Description
The "Judy's Everbearing" cultivar, a unique hybrid of Citrus australasica, boasts a chameleonic flair in its appearance. Depending on weather conditions, the fruit can exhibit a spectrum from reddish-green skin with pink flesh to green skin and yellow-green flesh. A distinctive feature of this Finger Lime is its ability to mainly fruit in Bunuru (summer), with occasional sporadic fruiting throughout the year.
"Judy's Everbearing" can be grown in pots or directly in the ground. When planting in sandy soils, it's advantageous to mix in a soil conditioner for optimal growth. Ensure consistent watering from Kambarang to Djeran (spring to autumn) during warmer periods. For nurturing its best yield, apply a citrus-appropriate fertiliser during Djilba (early spring) and lightly prune after the main harvest to maintain the plant's vigour.
